Sofia Groß (* 1998) is a freelance artist living in Lower Austria. Her work explores themes such as trauma, the representation of women within family systems, and the culture of remembrance. She has been studying Art Education at the University of Applied Arts Vienna since 2022. For Expo 2025 in Osaka, she is exploring the history of the use of Japanese folding screens in relation to the topic of safe communication in the digital world.
Für Sofia Groß’ künstlerische Forschung sind die kommunikative Funktion des japanischen Paravents und seine gelenkigen Verbindungen von größtem Interesse. In diesem Projekt setzt sie sich mit Konzepten des sicheren Raums und Regeln der Kommunikation in einer digitalen Welt auseinander.

ソフィア・グロース（1998年生まれ）は、オーストリア・ニーダーエスターライヒ州に在住するフリーランスのアーティストで、作品ではトラウマ、家族制度における女性、記憶文化といったテーマを扱っている。2022年からウィーン応用美術大学で美術教育を専攻している。2025年の大阪・関西万博では、デジタル世界における安全なコミュニケーションをテーマに、日本の屏風の使用史を参照しながら制作している。
