Teresa Trimmel and Nick Gröller explored the history and imbalance in the exchange of goods. They examined the paths people choose to travel to and understand foreign cultures and the role of “traveling objects” in this process. What mental images arise from such objects, and does “the true image” of a culture even exist? Their project led to a multi-layered, overlapping perspective on perception, which they implemented in the form of a porcelain light object.Teresa Trimmel (1997*), studies Art Education at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and Mathematics and Inclusive Education at the University of Vienna. Her artistic practice is shaped by the interplay of these various fields and takes place between queerfeminist and inclusive, performative, spatial and materialized explorations.
In this project she collaborated with Nick Gröller and their artistic research focuses on the circumstances of global interaction in the past, present and future – also taking power dynamics into consideration.

Nick Gröller (*1996) is an Austrian artist and is currently studying art education at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. In his artistic work, he deals intensively with questions of form, appearance and materiality in various media. At the same time, he explores perceptual theory and (social) psychological perspectives, which he expresses in design and visual art. In doing so, he takes a fresh look at familiar themes, sometimes with a humorous touch.
