Efrat Arielle Peleg

Researcher

I am an artist who grew up in Israel, studied in the US, and is currently based in Japan.  I enjoy making colorful paintings and woodblock prints.

In my work, I reflect upon my experiences in the different environments I lived in. Which has allowed me to develop a sense of home wherever I went, as long as I kept making art. Through my images, I seek to deliver a warm, calming sensation, promoting a welcoming, cross-cultural connection.

I see art as a universal language, a powerful tool to communicate and share the stories that all people, anywhere, carry within.
